Where to Stay in Paros, Greece: The Best Areas, Hotels & Villas for 2026
We've stayed across Paros multiple times, from a harbour-view room in Naoussa to a hilltop windmill in Lefkes, and this is our honest guide to the best places to stay on the island. Every budget, every area, every property we'd genuinely book ourselves.
Paros is our favourite island in Greece.
We've said it before, and we'll keep saying it, but there's something about this place that gets under your skin and refuses to leave.
The whitewashed harbour of Naoussa at golden hour, the lavender-scented marble trails of the interior, the kind of long, wine-filled taverna dinners that only happen in Greece. We've been back multiple times and would go back tomorrow.
It also happens to have some of the most beautiful accommodation in the Cyclades, from sleek design hotels perched above the Aegean to centuries-old townhouses in Parikia, hilltop villas with views over Naxos and, our personal favourite find, a restored 19th-century windmill you can actually sleep in.
The hard part isn't finding somewhere good to stay on Paros. It's choosing.
Based on multiple visits and nights spent across the island, we've put together this guide to help you choose the right base for your travel style and find accommodation you'll love, whether you're after barefoot luxury in Naoussa, a characterful budget stay in Parikia or something completely off the beaten track in the hills.
Based on multiple visits and nights spent across the island, this is our curated guide to the best accommodation on Paros - every property we'd genuinely book ourselves, organised by area and budget to help you find the right fit.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY ON PAROS? AN AREA GUIDE
Choosing where to base yourself on Paros is probably the most important decision you'll make before arriving, it shapes everything from your daily routine to how much you spend on transport.
Here's our honest take on each area, after two weeks on the island across multiple visits.
NAOUSSA | OUR RECOMMENDATION FOR MOST VISITORS
Naoussa is the most beautiful town on Paros and the one we keep coming back to.
A labyrinth of whitewashed laneways opening onto a picture-perfect fishing harbour, with the best restaurants, bars and beaches on the island all within easy reach - in our opinion, it's the obvious base for first timers.
The catch: it's the most expensive area to stay. Budget around €100–150 per night for a decent mid-range hotel in shoulder season, with luxury options pushing well beyond €250 in peak summer.
That being said, the range of options is excellent, from luxury stays to self-contained apartments.
Accommodation books out fast in July and August, so plan ahead.
For everything worth eating, drinking and doing in the town, our Naoussa guide has it all covered.
BEST FOR | couples, food lovers, nightlife, first-time visitors to Paros, anyone who wants the full Cycladic experience on their doorstep.
PARIKIA | THE PRACTICAL (AND AFFORDABLE) CHOICE
In our opinion, Parikia gets unfairly dismissed. Yes, it's busier and less polished than Naoussa, but it's also where the ferries arrive, where the buses connect, and where you'll find genuinely affordable accommodation without sacrificing convenience.
The old town has real charm once you get past the port chaos, and the sunset bars south of the harbour are every bit as good as Naoussa's. There are excellent restaurants, too.
Accommodation is noticeably cheaper, so expect €60–120 per night mid-range, and you're better positioned for early ferry departures. The trade-off is the lack of high-end options and a slightly less atmospheric setting.
Planning to base yourself here? Our Parikia guide covers everything worth knowing before you arrive.
BEST FOR | budget-conscious travellers, families, those prioritising transport links, and anyone spending a night before or after a ferry.
LEFKES & THE INTERIOR VILLAGES | FOR THE SLOW TRAVELLER
If you want to experience Paros the way it actually lives rather than the way it performs for tourists, base yourself in Lefkes.
The former capital sits in the hills with sweeping views over the island, extraordinary architecture and a pace of life that feels removed from the coastal buzz.
It's quieter, cooler in summer and considerably cheaper than the coast.
The trade-off is practical: you'll need a rental car to get anywhere meaningful, and the beach is always a drive away. Not ideal for beach-first travellers, but perfect for those seeking a slower stay.
Our Lefkes guide covers the village in full, including where to eat, what to see and how to get there.
BEST FOR | slow travellers, couples, photographers, anyone wanting an authentic village experience, hikers tackling the Byzantine Path.
GOLDEN BEACH & THE EAST COAST | FOR BEACH AND WATERSPORT LOVERS
The East Coast is where you come if beaches and watersports are the priority.
Golden Beach (Chrissi Akti) is world-class for windsurfing and kitesurfing, and the stretch of accommodation around there is good value compared to Naoussa.
It's quieter and more resort-focused, which means less atmosphere but more relaxation.
The downside is isolation from the island's best restaurants and nightlife. This means a car (or personal transport like an ATV) is essential. Unless, of course, you plan to windsurf all day, every day.
BEST FOR | windsurfers, kitesurfers, families who want calm water and a slower pace, and those who want a beach-first holiday.
THE QUIETER VILLAGES (ALIKI, PISO LIVADI, AMBELAS) | FOR AVOIDING CROWDS
Dotted around the coastline, these small fishing villages offer local charm, excellent seafood tavernas and a complete absence of overtourism.
Accommodation is mostly self-contained apartments and family-run rooms that are simple, affordable and authentic.
If you're happy with your own company and a rental car, these villages are some of the most rewarding places to stay on the island.
However, if you want ease and variety, stick to Naoussa or Parikia.
BEST FOR | repeat visitors, independent travellers, those who want the real Greece over the polished version.
NAOUSSA | WHERE TO STAY ON PAROS
LUXURY NAOUSSA HOTELS
PARILIO DESIGN HOTEL
Tucked into the rolling hills west of Naoussa, Parīlio is our top pick for luxury on Paros, and one of the finest design hotels in the Cyclades.
The 33 suites are built around natural stone, an understated palette and a minimalism that feels genuinely considered rather than decorative.
It's the kind of place that slows you down without trying, which, if you're arriving from the noise of Mykonos or Athens, is exactly what you need.
The enormous pool, on-site spa, fitness centre and restaurant serving modern Greek cuisine round out what is a very complete package.
It's not cheap, and it doesn't need to be.

COSME - A LUXURY COLLECTION HOTEL
The newest luxury arrival on Paros and, for those who want five-star certainty with a Greek island backdrop, probably the most complete package on the island right now.
Cosme sits directly on Agioi Anargyroi Beach, a 10–15 minute walk from Naoussa's harbour, which is close enough to wander in for dinner, far enough to feel removed from the evening crowd.
The architecture is distinctly Cycladic - whitewashed, low-rise, with meandering pathways and a half-moon pool that mirrors the bay in front of it. The 40 suites are well-proportioned and carefully designed, each with a private balcony and direct beach access.
Parostia restaurant, led by acclaimed Greek chef Yiannis Kioroglou, is worth a booking in its own right. The full-service spa and attentive staff round out what is, by any measure, a serious hotel.
It's a Marriott Luxury Collection property, which means it operates with more polish and infrastructure than the island's independent boutiques.

COVE PAROS
Cove Paros has quietly established itself as one of the finest places to stay on the island - a boutique beachfront hotel on the calm bay of Agioi Anargyroi, just a 10-minute walk from Naoussa's harbour.
The design is exactly what you'd want from a Cycladic luxury hotel: clean architectural lines, earthy materials, an understated palette and 40 individually furnished rooms and suites, most with private terraces and several with private pools.
The setting is beautiful - bamboo-lined paths connect the pool to the beach club, and the whole place has a quiet, private atmosphere that's increasingly rare this close to Naoussa.
Rada Restaurant, helmed by acclaimed Greek chef Gikas Xenakis, is worth booking even if you're not staying, as it is one of the better dining experiences on the island. Breakfast is included and consistently excellent.
One honest note: the Marriott Cosme has recently opened next door, so the immediate area is slightly less secluded than it once was. Still one of our top picks in Naoussa - just worth knowing.

SAINT ANDREA SEASIDE RESORT - ADULTS ONLY
Saint Andrea sits about a 15-minute walk west of Naoussa in a secluded spot overlooking the sea, and it consistently earns some of the most glowing reviews of any hotel on the island.
The pool area is the standout: a stunning, immaculately maintained terrace with uninterrupted views across the bay to uninhabited islands beyond. It's one of the best places to spend a slow afternoon on Paros.
The breakfast buffet is excellent, the staff's hospitality is repeatedly singled out in reviews, and the overall atmosphere is calm, elegant and unhurried, exactly what you want from an adults-only resort.
The one genuine caveat: the walk to Naoussa runs alongside a busy road. You can opt for a short ATV or taxi ride into town rather than walking, which is worth considering.

CENTRAL BOUTIQUE HOTEL
The tidy Central Boutique Hotel in the centre of Naoussa is a great base to explore the surrounding town. Opened in 2021, the sister hotel to the sprawling Naoussa Hills hotel takes an entirely different approach.
And it works. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, balancing white and anthracite with pops of vibrant modern art, and the pool is unlikely to get too crowded.
If you’re staying in Naoussa to explore Paros and looking for a comfortable, contemporary base, check out Central Boutique Hotel.

BUNGALOWS SVORONOS
With the beach on one side and the historic centre of Naoussa on the other, both a few minutes away on foot, Bungalows Svoronos is in a great area.
The rooms are simple but comfortable, with kitchenettes and charmingly creaky Cycladic furniture. Some rooms don’t have air conditioning, which could be a problem in the summer months.
But what you’ll really love is the history. Svoronos, one of the oldest accommodations in Naoussa, has spent 50 years accumulating a collection of quirky local antiques and growing the bougainvillea and trees that shade the garden.

KALYPSO HOTEL & KALYPSO APARTMENTS
Naoussa isn’t cheap, which makes the Kalypso properties appealing right off the bat. There are three Kalypso options: a laid-back boutique hotel by the beach, a 14-apartment complex half a kilometre up the road, or sprawling seafront villas by the bay (although the villas are significantly more expensive).
Both the hotel and apartments offer single, double or family rooms in classically whitewashed buildings.
You’ve got the essential mod-cons like air conditioning, Wi-Fi and refrigerators, plus kitchenettes in the apartments, and private balconies where you can enjoy a glass of Greek wine and watch the lazy bay.

PARIKIA | WHERE TO STAY ON PAROS
LUXURY HOTELS IN PARIKIA
YRIA ISLAND BOUTIQUE HOTEL
Yria sits on a verdant hill overlooking Parasporos Bay, about 2km from Parikia, and as a setting, it's beautiful. Whitewashed Cycladic-style houses connected by bougainvillea-lined pathways, lush gardens, a large pool with sea views, an excellent breakfast and a spa that gets consistently strong reviews.
But where it divides opinion is the rooms.
A recent renovation has updated some but not all, rooms, and a portion of guests feel the room quality doesn't quite match what the price tag implies. Therefore, we suggest requesting a renovated room, specifically when booking.
The gardens, grounds and pool area are the real draw here - they’re peaceful, unhurried and a retreat from the coastal bustle.
If that's your priority and Parikia is your base, Yria is worth considering. If you want a room that matches the setting in quality, Paros Agnanti nearby offers a more consistent luxury experience.

PAROS AGNANTI HOTEL
If you have your own car (which we recommend when exploring Paros), the 4km journey from Parikia to Paros Agnanti won’t be an issue.
For the effort, you’ll be rewarded with a gorgeous blonde beach populated mostly by locals, plus the experience of staying in one of Paros’ top-rated luxury hotels.
Some rooms have sea views. Some have hot tubs. Some have pools, and some have a combination, so you can take a dip in private and watch over the beach. Tough choice!
Rest assured that whichever room you choose will be tastefully decorated and fully equipped for a pampered stay.

ERATO (APARTMENT ALKAIOS)
Natural light spills in from the courtyard, illuminating natural stone peeking through whitewashed walls. Interior archways open to bright nooks with quirky, off-kilter architecture. You might feel like you’re stepping into a cliffside Cycladic cave when really, you’re in Erato, a 500-year-old apartment in the heart of Parikia.
Erato is a little nook of home-away-from-home luxury created by Alkaios Apartments.
We love the abundance of natural materials and the clever use of a small space. Erato’s charm definitely outsizes its floor plan; its central Parikia location and fully-equipped setup make it ideal for couples.

BETHLEHEM HISTORIC TOWNHOUSE
Despite being in the middle of Parikia, with its twisting lanes and squares that come alive on a summer night, Bethlehem Townhouse is a nest of tranquillity for a chilled-out family stay.
The two-bedroom home was built in 1600 and renovated more recently in 2016. From the traditional Cycladic furniture to the sunny rooftop terrace, the restorations blend original charm with loads of natural materials and natural light.
It’s everything that makes Parikia more appealing than Naoussa for experience-seekers; laid-back and unpretentious, yet still overflowing with the charm of Greek island life.

PAROS BACKPACKERS
If you’re looking to save money and make friends, book a bed at Paros Backpackers. There are standard dorms and private rooms for groups, all with refrigerators and en-suite bathrooms.
But the social scene is the real attraction. Whether lounging by the pool, congregating on the rooftop to watch a stunning sunset or cooking together in the kitchen, you’re guaranteed to meet all kinds of friendly folks.
The owner will invite you to a WhatsApp group that’s great for finding adventure buddies. And the party moves on when the rooftop closes at midnight, so you can still get a good night’s sleep.

KRIOS BEACH CAMPING
Krios Beach Camping is one of the most budget-friendly accommodation options on Paros and is popular with the locals.
A basic two-person cabin with A/C is only €40 per night, or you can camp for €13. You don’t even need to BYO because renting a tent costs the same as setting up your own.
The distance from Parikia is a downside, so for the extra €15, we’d opt for a private room at Paros Backpackers.
But Krios beach…well, put it this way: we walked all the way there from Parikia, and it was 100% worth the sweaty journey.
THE DETAILS
BOOK |KRIOS BEACH CAMPING
A note on Krios Beach Camping: this property was a long-time budget favourite on the island but appears to have closed permanently. We'd recommend checking current availability before booking, and suggest Paros Backpackers as the best alternative budget option near Parikia.

PAROCKS LUXURY HOTEL & SPA
Paros shuns hectic schedules. It’s all about relaxing and reconnecting with nature, which is exactly what Parocks Luxury Hotel offers.
Opened in December 2020, Parocks Hotel is a champion of sustainable design (which we like) and a secluded haven in the hills overlooking a wide-open sea (which we also like). Each of the 13 rooms and suites has a private pool, and there’s plenty more indulgence in the restaurant, bar, spa, and open-air jacuzzi.
Although closer to Naoussa (and super close to the beach!), we’ve included Parocks Luxury Hotel here because it fits the ‘charming mountain town’ vibe that made Lefkes one of our favourite Greek villages.

SWEET PATH VILLA
Lefkes’ charm unfurls as you explore the twisting lanes, passing houses seemingly stacked on top of each other before eventually reaching the Byzantine church to see wheat-coloured hills rolling gently towards the sea.
Sweet Path Villa, built on a hill close to the church, offers that same romantic ‘breath of fresh air’ feeling – and you don’t have to share the view.
The two-bedroom family-owned villa, built recently in the sugar cube style, is modern and comfortable with a big lounge, outdoor pool, garden and gorgeous terrace. It’s strolling distance from Lefkes and ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring Paros.

A new three-villa complex of luxury sugar cube villas, Agiasi Villas, is every bit the embodiment of Lefkes’ rising popularity. The panoramic views over Lefkes out to the sea strait separating Paros from Naxos, the shared pool (one villa has a private pool), the sunbeds…the entire place is prime for relaxing in the sleepy hilltop village.
The villas are all two-floor self-contained homes sleeping up to nine people. You’ve got a fully equipped kitchen complete with a coffee machine, two or three bathrooms, up to four bedrooms and modern finishes in every space.

TRADITIONAL WINDMILL
This might be one of the best apartment finds we’ve ever encountered. Windmills were traditionally used in the Greek islands to mill wheat – they’re everywhere around the Cyclades, but this might be one of very few you can sleep in.
Four meters in diameter and 7.5 meters high, the Stunning Traditional Windmill houses a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room over two floors. And you’re within strolling distance from the village of Lefkes.
Originally built in 1856, the windmill was “mortally wounded” in a storm a century later and eventually restored to its current glory.

BOCAMVIGLIA CYCLADIC GEM
Although not the most budget of budget accommodation options in Greece, Bocamviglia Cycladic Gem is in the heart of Lefkes Village, making it a perfect base for exploring Paros at a relaxed pace.
The one-bedroom home can house three people (four at a squeeze), bringing the per-person cost down to a comfortable level.
Bocamviglia is packed with locally-made charm and old-fashioned character. Sometimes that “charm” translates to a kitchen in need of an update, and sometimes a delightfully sunny balcony made of gently curving whitewashed stone.

VILLA BYZANTINO
The compact complex housing Villa Byzantino is geared towards eclectic travellers: honeymooners seeking an authentic experience, writers and artists, and families escaping to the hills of Lefkes for some fresh air.
The decorations don’t match, and the villa complex has a series of tucked-away spaces to explore, but that’s all part of the charm.
Among Paros accommodation options, Villa Byzantino has a well-deserved reputation as a haven for the arts among the Lefkes surroundings.

Overlooking the golden sands and sun umbrellas dotting Logaras beach, Summer Senses aims to capture the essence of a Cycladic summer for guests at the luxury hotel.
The sprawling 30-acre Summer Senses complex would be imposing if it were located closer to Parikia or Naoussa. There are 11 separate buildings, 12 private freshwater pools and three communal pools (three!).
But the eastern side of Paros receives less tourism, even in the busy summer months, so you can rest easy whether floating in the pool overlooking the Aegean sea or walking the 3 minutes down to the beach.

There are four room types for couples and families, two swimming pools, pool and beach bars, a delectable restaurant and even better views. All rooms come with a balcony, almost all overlooking the sea, so guests can enjoy the fresh breeze in privacy.
As befitting the unassuming eastern edge of Paros, Poseidon does the simple things very well, allowing you to breathe the fresh air and truly relax.

Ranging from 40m2 one-bedroom apartments to 65m2 three-bedroom and 70m2 two-bedroom homes, with sea views or mountain views, Cleopatra is island life exemplified.

VILLA DANAE
Sitting above Piso Livadi, with views over the sea from the sunny terrace or private pool, the four-bedroom Villa Danae is one of the best places we’ve seen for group trips.
The fixtures and finishings are a little dated, but the two-floor apartment is clean and commodious, with on-site parking, a full kitchen, three verandas and sunbeds galore.
Piso Livadi isn’t the most exciting village in the Greek islands. Still, there’s plenty to do if you get tired of soaking up the sun on the terrace or taking dips in the pool (like that’s possible).
We had a great time hiking from Piso Livadi to the healing clay sands of Kalogeros beach, and there are easy bus connections to Lefkes, Naoussa and Parikia.

ACRON VILLAS
Set high on a hill with views of Naoussa to the east and Kolympithres beach to the west, the 24 private villas of the Acron Villas complex feel totally secluded while still tangentially connected to Paros’ nightlife hotspot.
Each villa has a private pool, with two, three, four or five bedrooms sleeping up to 11 guests. The rustic-minimalist design aesthetic is a nod to the nearby limestone formations tumbling into the sparkling sea.
But there’s nothing minimalist about the offering: every villa has a full kitchen, dining and living areas, sun lounges, and most even have a fireplace.

CYCLADIC JEWEL
This might be the only accommodation on Paros with a sauna, at least from what we’ve found. Cycladic Jewel is certainly a jewel, although the blended design – including the sauna, Aztec rug, rusticana whitewashed walls and Scandinavian decorations – are more eclectic than Cycladic.
Still, it works.

Most luxury villas on Paros are perched overlooking the Aegean Sea, but Mint & Marjoram is happy to buck that trend in the name of a secluded stay surrounded by 30 acres of hillside beauty.
Don’t worry, you can still see the sea. And it’s reachable by car in under 15 minutes.
With sleeping space for 10 people in five bedrooms, an outdoor infinity pool, a full kitchen, a barbecue, a vegetable garden and a wood-burning fireplace, Mint & Marjoram is a cosy place to get together.
